I speak in the language of expressly romanticized images; they are often ironic and bold, yet gentle and fragile. They serve as a metaphor for “soft power,” emerging as a sincere response to the growing loneliness and aggression in contemporary society. I seek to draw attention to stereotypes and investigate the fetishization of consumer goods within modern-day capitalism, where objects acquire talisman-like, almost magical qualities.

My mission is to highlight the deceptiveness of individual perception, to explore whether we are capable of feeling empathy toward the images we encounter, and to use artistic practice as a means to foster new spiritual connections between people.
Artist statement
Born in 2003. In 2024, she graduated from the Galina Vishnevskaya College of Music and Theatre Arts with a specialization in theatrical and decorative painting. She is also a graduate of the Tzvetnik School of Contemporary Art.

Eva’s artistic method is based on found photographs, screenshots, and cropped or abstract fragments of images; she captures various scenes by reframing them through painting, drawing, sculpture, and ready-made objects. She sees everyday life as a source of inspiration, and painting as a metaphor for fleeting time and a meditative practice that helps you slow down in a turbulent world.

In her work, Eva explores themes of identity, social tension, and human vulnerability.
