At West Bund Art & Design, Shanghai’s international contemporary art fair, SOUZ Cultural Project presented paintings by LU (Lucy Soloveva), as well as a selection of collectible ceramic tiles from her series The Enchanted Garden Where I Got Lost.
LU studied in the studio of Yuri Negodaev, a renowned Neo-Symbolist artist from Vladimir. During her student years, she developed an interest in street art, adopted the pseudonym LU and formulated her artistic method: an artwork should be a direct statement, accessible without interpreters.
Her works have been displayed at museums and exhibition venues across Russia. In 2025, LU’s solo show was held at the international art fair One Masters Monaco. She lives and works between Vladimir and Suzdal.
West Bund Art & Design has been held annually in Shanghai since 2014. One of China's largest art fairs, it takes place across several venues each November, bringing together hundreds of galleries and cultural institutions from around the world.
